So I'm going to enjoy going through this storyline purely because it's a fun side thing to do that could lead to a future storyline. While yes, seeing his descent to madness would be cool, that would be just as useless because it isn't something brand new as stated already :P but if Blizzard manages to give us clues why Nozdormu falls to madness and wants to unravel history then why would you be mad at that? To be fair, his ultimate goal is still uncertain, though the reveal was way back in End Time during Cataclysm, this isn't anything short of awesome news, more so as it's poking fun at time travel and why wouldn't that be fun? Not to mention that we don't know why these 2 were falling through time. Another wasted opportunity of a storytelling.

Instead of using this questline to better unfold Nozdormu, his goals and motives (and perhaps drop some hints of him becoming Murozond during Dragonflight), they made another save-useless-Chromie yet again with some cringe murlocs and "fun" stuff.

We defend Chromie and Eternos and they're able to bring us back home, but even this journey isn't enough to bring Eternos to the Bronze Dragonflight's side - She claims that Murozond is coming. Chromie and Eternos are no longer falling through time, but we're in a bit of a pickle here, as this is so far in the past that returning home will require both Chromie and Eternos's combined forces. So far, in fact, we've arrived at the Black Empire era, back when the Elemental Lords were on war with them. We have traveled far, far into the Azeroth's past. We move swiftly through time, until we arrive at our final destination. This is a timed quest that has us go through events of the past in Azeroth, like the Gnoll Wars in Elwynn Forest, the War of the Shifting Sands, and the Pandaren Revolution. Nozdormu tells us that Chromie and Eternus are punching holes through the time fabric, and we must then embark on a mad dash through time to reach them. We return unsuccessful, but with the certainty that this completely normal timeline continues its normalcy. As we find Chromie and Eternus, we help the Alliance and Horde leaders Varian Wryngrrlgulgll and Thrallgrulgulgul defeat the corrupted Murloc aspect, Deathwingurlugull. We end up reviving the Dragon Soul raid instance, and I don't know about you guys, but I don't see anything different here. Our next adventure towards finding Chromie leads us to the past. including a certain charming character that does look strikingly close to you. Before we leave this timeline, though, we help the Timewalker resistance. The Thaldraszus in this area is covered in eternal snow and storms, and we're able to locate Chromie and Eternus (hilariously locked in a time loop), but our attempt at attuning them to our timeline results in them slipping once more. We're still in the Temporal Conflux, but this is an alternate timeline in which Razsageth and the Primalist forces have won the conflict we see in Dragonflight. We first arrive in an area called the Primalist Tomorrow. Once this happens, Nozdormu himself arrives and asks us to go on an adventure through time. However, as we help Chromie retake the Temporal Conflux, both her's and Eternus's time magics clashes, and they both end up lost in time! It is there that we meet Chromie, who is busy with an Infinite Dragonflight invasion, where she's keeping the leader Eternus at bay. WARNING: DRAGONFLIGHT STORY SPOILERS AHEAD!Īt one point through the Thaldraszus questline, we go through the Temporal Conflux, the seat of power of the Bronze Dragonflight.
